With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Grandison in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Vickery saved Kangaroos from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Kangaroos's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Golob came free, but Carlos Vickery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kangaroos's goalkeeper Carlos Vickery, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glasston's Rafael van der Vaart got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Vickery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Grandison in the 29th minute of play. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Rafael van der Vaart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glasston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Damian Clinton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlton Convine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Carlos Vickery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael van der Vaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Thomas Grandison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carlos Vickery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute Mete Golob shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Vickery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Vickery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Golob in the 42nd minute of play. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael van der Vaart in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Kangaroos's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Golob came free, but Carlos Vickery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nash Pukallus to make the kick off. Carlton Convine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Clinton in the 52nd minute of the match. Carlos Vickery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Rolfsson in the 57th minute of the match. Glasstons' Carlos Vickery made a terrific save as he just managed to stop Tom Rheisteins penalty just before it crossed the line at his left post. Bengt-Rune Rolfsson took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Vickery. Carlos Vickery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Kangaroos made a substitution. Murdock Hitchen replaced Nash Pukallus. Kangaroos's Bradshaw Kean was substituted for Andres Minne. With a little luck, Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery got control of the ball when Rafael van der Vaart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kangaroos's Carlos Vickery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Kangaroos from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Glasston could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kangaroos throughout the match.
