The Abbotsford FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lei Wei Lin should have stopped the shot. When Yakut Vecihi came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Abbotsford FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yakut Vecihi couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joakim Damm in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lei Wei Lin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Su Xing Jie kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Oğuz Riayet came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuz Riayet couldn't finish the play. Yakut Vecihi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Lucas Blöcker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yakut Vecihi had several of the AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Lucas Blöcker as he didn't even see the shot coming. 43 minutes into the match, Abbotsford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Damm came free, but Lei Wei Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Abbotsford FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oğuz Riayet took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Haroldo Gregory managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abbotsford FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Gregory was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Blöcker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Abbotsford FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yakut Vecihi to make the kick off. Pierre Haeberle made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Perry Ackland immediately put the ball in play. If Joakim Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Denny Commons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Blöcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Blöcker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yakut Vecihi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Abbotsford FC were awarded a corner.
