An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 29th minute of play forced ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper Simão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Cunha came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Edgar Figari. But to his dismay, Edgar Figari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. André Jordão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Cunha having to interfere. Edgar Figari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Simão Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zigmantas Gimbutas made a kick off. Antonio Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s goalkeeper Simão Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yan Zhan Cheng was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Braga's players had a chance to rest. The SC Braga fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 97th minute, Gastão Veiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simão Cunha. The goal made the score 0-8. When the match was over SC Braga could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ throughout the match.
