German Cano charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Cano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Micarelli got free with Basílio Xavier in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José de Carvalho in the 87th minute of play forced Fluminense di Parma's goalkeeper Basílio Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Paulo José de Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Xavier. Fluminense di Parma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Celso Pena helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Fluminense di Parma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball.
