With a little luck, PI FC's Romulo Arce got control of the ball when Belo Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belo Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Bartolome came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Esteban Vadillos hit a great ball. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Bartolome's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. PI FC's Romulo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 13th minute of play. Romulo Arce made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Belo Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. Belo Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Romulo Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belo Alvarez got free with Romulo Arce in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Bartolome was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ladislao Eduino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romulo Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belo Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Camilo Bartolome came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the PI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Bartolome couldn't finish the play. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Laurin Mangas replaced Nereo Acosta. A.D. Alcorcón's Eusebio Quijana was substituted for Natxo Cacheres. PI FC's Gaspar Luke managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Apolinar Guijarro in the 71 minute of the game. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save A.D. Alcorcón from getting a goal against them. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when PI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez was substituted for Belo Alvarez. Filomeno Juvenal kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Arce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. PI FC's Gaspar Luke managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Apolinar Guijarro in the 86 minute of the game. After 92 minutes, Ladislao Eduino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PI FC and the A.D. Alcorcón players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 93rd minute of play forced PI FC's goalkeeper Romulo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
