With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Spartan FC Mogilany were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after PI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leroy Parkinson took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Liam Hähner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Spartan FC Mogilany's Iwo Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Bartolome in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Spartan FC Mogilany's Iwo Domarecki got control of the ball when Camilo Bartolome tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ilie Dumitrescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Romulo Arce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Spartan FC Mogilany supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spartan FC Mogilany would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
