Luisito James took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Art Hauschildt. Art Hauschildt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Titipounamu's Vincente Santiago managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristobal Harrington in the 38 minute of the game. Hazar Hür received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Shaki Conn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Navarro could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Art Hauschildt however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ken Ivey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Titipounamu's Nando Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
