The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 5 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho Sabóia. Academia Santista CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ricardinho Dantas scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcinho Sabóia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Academia Santista CIMZ's Marcinho Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Santista CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Felippe Fonseca 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Felippe Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcinho Sabóia having to make a save. The supporters of UP! Essencia FC booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ricardinho Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. UP! Essencia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Víktor Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cacá Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Academia Santista CIMZ booed when UP! Essencia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes of play, UP! Essencia FC's Ricardinho Dantas made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Marcinho Sabóia managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when UP! Essencia FC's Ricardinho Dantas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbson Cearense during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Cearense to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kauan Leme hit a great ball. Felippe Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marcinho Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho Dantas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Marcinho Sabóia when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Ferraz to make the kick off. If Didi Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Dantas in the 58th minute of the match. Cacá Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Peres in the 59th minute of play. Marcinho Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute of the match Ronaldo Pinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcinho Sabóia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Felippe Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UP! Essencia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felippe Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, UP! Essencia FC's Ricardinho Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Ricardinho Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 77th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Marcinho Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Fonseca came free, but Marcinho Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, UP! Essencia FC's Ricardinho Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 83rd minute, Jairo Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Santista CIMZ's zone, Ricardinho Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho Sabóia came out of the goal and Ricardinho Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Didi Sergipano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Marcinho Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcinho Sabóia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arlindo Ferreira went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the UP! Essencia FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
