Emmanuel Canturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Prata in the 10th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Norberto Prata made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Prata in the 30th minute of play. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Prata in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Hélder Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merusca F&P's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emmanuel Canturri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Henrique Borges received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 69th minute Merusca F&P were awarded a corner. Pedrinho Paranaense went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Merusca F&P's corner Pedrinho Paranaense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emmanuel Canturri quite easily take care of the ball. Florian Capasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Canturri having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Merusca F&P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vihar Perchemliev to maneuver through the defense. Merusca F&P's Fábio Trevisan was substituted for Anderson Vidal. In the 74th minute, Vihar Perchemliev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Borges. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Paranaense in the 83rd minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Emmanuel Canturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's zone, Florian Capasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanuel Canturri came out of the goal and Florian Capasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 92nd minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute of the match Merusca F&P got a corner. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedrinho Paranaense ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pedrinho Paranaense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emmanuel Canturri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
