Kartal Namal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Lluc in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, El Pulpo Paceño's goal looked a bit too open when Cevat Tekinalp came free, but Nicanor Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kartal Namal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetoslav Genkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Aristides Lluc fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Pulpo Paceño's protests and gave Aristides Lluc a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Pulpo Paceño getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Aristides Lluc hit a great ball. Atlético San Alejandro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
