The audience was convinced that Predrag Nograšek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nando Toscano was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Nando Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Predrag Nograšek's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The corner ended in Predrag Nograšek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sayveon Abad in the 14th minute of play forced Escuadrón Mercenario's goalkeeper Nando Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's goal looked a bit too open when Predrag Nograšek came free, but Nando Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Los Kollas got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Abechuco. In the 22nd minute Los Kollas were awarded a corner. Rolando Abeita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Los Kollas's Sayveon Abad to a score. 0-1 in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Predrag Nograšek in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando Toscano saved Escuadrón Mercenario from getting behind. Panos Papadimidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Predrag Nograšek in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Agostinho Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Panos Papadimidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sayveon Abad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Kollas's supporters rose to their feet, but Sayveon Abad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nando Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th match minute, Los Kollas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvino Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Gartxot Abeita struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Panos Papadimidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escuadrón Mercenario. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Panos Papadimidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Abeijon in the 55th minute of the match. With his leg Nando Toscano managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Los Kollas's Predrag Nograšek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Panos Papadimidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Abeijon in the 61st minute of the match. A hard shot 62 in the game by Predrag Nograšek from a close distance when the talented Nando Toscano managed to make a qualified save. Escuadrón Mercenario's players were relieved. Peli Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Papadimidis having to interfere. The supporters of Escuadrón Mercenario booed when Los Kollas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano got control of the ball when Predrag Nograšek tried to sneak it across the goal line.
