Santiago Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kilian Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Damián Åkerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hansjörg Wastl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Justino Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Kilian Mbappè might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kilian Mbappè ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Torres made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Kilian Mbappè sent off a good shot on target. Antony Brouillet kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Al-Femur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damián Åkerman came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Damián Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the game, Damián Åkerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hansjörg Wastl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half INTER de Córdoba were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kilian Mbappè made the kick off in the second half. Santiago Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Brouillet in the 51st minute of play. If Damián Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Al-Femur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damián Åkerman came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Al-Femur FC booed when INTER de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano DAndrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cheng Qian Qiang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Cheng Qian Qiang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Hansjörg Wastl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 89th minute, Urbano Chuse made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Torres. INTER de Córdoba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Genaro Tauro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Al-Femur FC were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after INTER de Córdoba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hakan Ünsal took the corner. The corner led Al-Femur FC's Hakan Ünsal to fire away a dangerous shot which Santiago Torres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match was over INTER de Córdoba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Al-Femur FC throughout the match.
