The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cihangir Onsoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Palestine's Jaroslaw Bako proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Palestine from getting a goal against them. The Palestine manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Lokomotiv Bornova to win.
