Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jarūnas Kuliešius took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Grabert got free with Edvīns van der Sar in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Savage Hippo's Edvīns van der Sar threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eddie Bjurström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Savage Hippo fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Savage Hippo's Edwin Grabert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Edwin Grabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savage Hippo's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Grabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvīns van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Chamberlain in the 16th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Alytus United! FC Alytus United:s Edvīns van der Sar showed great skill when he stopped Martynas Jaras:s penalty. Edvīns van der Sar came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Savage Hippo's Martynas Jaras. But to his dismay, Martynas Jaras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Edvīns van der Sar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edwin Grabert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Edwin Grabert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvīns van der Sar having to make a save. FC Alytus United's Edvīns van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Grabert in the 27th minute of play. Edvīns van der Sar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edwin Grabert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. Edvīns van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saulius Pilipavičius in the 38th minute of the match. Edwin Grabert might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvīns van der Sar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Grabert ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Edvīns van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwin Grabert. Edvīns van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Edwin Grabert sent off a good shot on target. In the 46thth minute of the game Edwin Grabert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alytus United's Edvīns van der Sar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Edwin Grabert made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Alytus United's zone, Edwin Grabert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvīns van der Sar came out of the goal and Edwin Grabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarūnas Kuliešius. Orestas Mineikis lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Savage Hippo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Edvīns van der Sar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute Jarūnas Kuliešius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savage Hippo's Eddie Bjurström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Romeo Ungheanu in the 66 minute of the game. Owen Tomaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 79 minutes, Daavid Šembera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Alytus United and the Savage Hippo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daavid Šembera kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jarūnas Kuliešius kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Cafu Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Romualdas Motiekaitis came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvīns van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Grabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martynas Jaras hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Deividas Mencendorfs kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Savage Hippo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Alytus United for a fine match.
