Damian Tipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeruko Candela, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Vergaray Casero fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gitarriu's protests and gave Vergaray Casero a yellow card for diving instead. Vergaray Casero hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Claude Erosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Yankovich in the 6th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Zeruko Candela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Damian Tipinski, 1-0. Zeruko Candela scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Tipinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Tipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kobe Bryant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Gitarriu from getting a goal against them. After having played for 24 minutes, Joel Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gitarriu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Lundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th play minute Zeruko Candela came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Damian Tipinski. 3-0. In the 27th match minute, Ona Somrient FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turi Guijarro to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Vergaray Casero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claude Erosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ona Somrient FC's Kobe Bryant managed to work through Gitarriu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kobe Bryant dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 34th minute, Joel Lundström made a precise shot to the right of Claude Erosa. Ona Somrient FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Felix Alacuart kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Damian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kobe Bryant in the 41st minute of play. Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kobe Bryant in the 42nd minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Gitarriu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Alacuart to maneuver through the defense. Unax Dimas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gitarriu booed when Ona Somrient FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Idacio Sánchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Lundström to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kobe Bryant in the 55th minute of play forced Gitarriu's goalkeeper Damian Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Kobe Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Tipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernebe Sabugal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claude Erosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frankie Yankovich got free with Claude Erosa in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 62 minutes, Rangel Machev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ona Somrient FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rangel Machev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kobe Bryant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Tipinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Gitarriu's goal looked a bit too open when Zeruko Candela came free, but Damian Tipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joel Lundström came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gitarriu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Lundström couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Unax Dimas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Tipinski. Gitarriu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Unax Dimas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Demetrio Cabanela charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Cabanela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Demetrio Cabanela kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Gitarriu got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Cabanela. Damian Tipinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kobe Bryant in the 89th minute of the match. Ona Somrient FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Idacio Sánchez in the 92nd minute. The corner led Ona Somrient FC's Idacio Sánchez to fire away a dangerous shot which Damian Tipinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ona Somrient FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
