Nery Pumpido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Alan Marinelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Marinelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nery Pumpido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Anton Donose dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nery Pumpido, 3-0. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Raúl Gordillo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Máximo Perrone in the 33 minute of the game. 35 minutes into the game, Máximo Perrone threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Club Atlético Lea Papá's Aldo-Pedro Poy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo-Pedro Poy in the 55th minute of play. Angel Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo-Pedro Poy came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Hong Qing got control of the ball when Zico Zellier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Jehlička to maneuver through the defense. GuateFortín's Hector Ventura was substituted for Sven-Edvin Jansson. Nery Pumpido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo-Pedro Poy's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Nery Pumpido came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Lea Papá's Aldo-Pedro Poy. But to his dismay, Aldo-Pedro Poy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 94th minute, Michal Jehlička got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Lea Papá players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
