The supporters of U21 Egypt booed when MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Solustiano. Carolo Lon succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Julian Abaurre made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Walid Gomaa sent off a good shot on target. After 27 played minutes U21 Egypt got a freekick which was hit by Refaat Marwan. Ameen Mazhar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Julian Abaurre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicolas Cilio got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Haroldo Etor. 46 minutes into the game, Essam Ramez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julian Abaurre. Essam Ramez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Mohammed Fouad fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Egypt's protests and gave Mohammed Fouad a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to U21 Egypt getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mohammed Fouad hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes U21 Egypt got a freekick which was hit by Taimour Samy. Ameen Mazhar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 minutes, Refaat Marwan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Egypt and the MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute Mohammed Fouad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Narciso Abastas could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Ameen Mazhar however easily saved by the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. U21 Egypt fully deserved thier win.
