Maksimilian Golovnitskiys short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Eraldo Guzman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 15 minutes, Maksimilian Golovnitskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kazakhstan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksimilian Golovnitskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Klim Kostygins short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Eraldo Guzman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute of the match Kazakhstan got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vitaliy Vorobey ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vitaliy Vorobey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eraldo Guzman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice moves Maksimilian Golovnitskiy could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Eraldo Guzman however easily saved by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Kazakhstan's goal looked a bit too open when Selvin Rosales came free, but Innokentiy Blyakhin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maksimilian Golovnitskiy had several of the Honduras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Eraldo Guzman as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klim Kostygin in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eraldo Guzman saved Honduras from getting behind. Klim Kostygin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo Guzman having to interfere. Maksimilian Golovnitskiy in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eraldo Guzman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Klim Kostygin made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Maksimilian Golovnitskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eraldo Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Erofey Kurashov came free, but Eraldo Guzman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hugo Barreto hit a great ball. Erofey Kurashov struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Eraldo Guzman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstan fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Kazakhstan's Erofey Kurashov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Honduras's Selvin Rosales got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eraldo Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klim Kostygin in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match Vitaliy Vorobey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eraldo Guzman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kazakhstan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
