Stelian Murgu started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Wang Jun Bo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Denis Horan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 minutes of play, Club Vertigo's Stelian Murgu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Horan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the game, Club Vertigo's Ysmael Celerain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Horan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling He Feng Bin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Horan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Norbert Kiss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Horan. Harriet Tubman Chariots's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norbert Kiss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 27th minute, He Feng Bin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Horan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Ovidiu Caranfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrien Jude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If He Feng Bin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Horan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Feng Bin in the 35th minute of the match. He Feng Bin took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Horan. Denis Horan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers He Feng Bin in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Horan saved Harriet Tubman Chariots from getting behind. A collision led to Harriet Tubman Chariots getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. John Cook hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrien Jude to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Horan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Feng Bin in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harriet Tubman Chariots's goalkeeper Denis Horan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
