When Chute de Ouro FC's Ivo Simões in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Braga Junior FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute Eric Simion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brickeen Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's Adrian Mutu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Echegoyen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Mutu came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Eric Simion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chute de Ouro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Simion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Adrian Mutu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tor Echegoyen to make any attempt to save it. After 28 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Jacinto. Brickeen Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Simion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brickeen Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Simion in the 45th minute of the match. If Adrian Mutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 47 minutes, Ivo Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chute de Ouro FC and the Braga Junior FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

After 52 minutes of play, Chute de Ouro FC's Eric Simion made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brickeen Wall was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Mutu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Echegoyen saved Chute de Ouro FC from getting behind. If Eric Simion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes of play, Braga Junior FC's Adrian Mutu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor Echegoyen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mutu in the 69th minute of play. Tor Echegoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Maciel in the 71st minute of the match.
