Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nelsonteam's Celso Rivas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 17 played minutes Nelsonteam got a freekick which was hit by Jordi Hospital. In the 18th minute of the match Vano Alania sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silban Mudarra skillfully saved the ball. Paata Kamadadze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Nelsonteam's goalkeeper Silban Mudarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paata Kamadadze. Paata Kamadadze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silban Mudarra having to make a save. In the 28thth minute of the game Paata Kamadadze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nelsonteam's Silban Mudarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paata Kamadadze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Silban Mudarra made a huge save. Silban Mudarra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paata Kamadadze showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Silban Mudarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emirhan Sultani in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Nelsonteam's goalkeeper Silban Mudarra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paata Kamadadze. In the 40th minute Emirhan Sultani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silban Mudarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paata Kamadadze's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silban Mudarra firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emirhan Sultani was the one to do the kick off. Kakhi Akhalaia hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes Nelsonteam got a freekick which was hit by Dan Engström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paata Kamadadze in the 55th minute of play forced Nelsonteam's goalkeeper Silban Mudarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emirhan Sultani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silban Mudarra was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Paata Kamadadze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silban Mudarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelsonteam made a substitution. Cresenciano Moya replaced Fernando Pierres. U21 Georgia's Davit Paghava was substituted for Otar Kamadadze. Jordi Hospital got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Celso Rivas. A collision led to U21 Georgia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Emirhan Sultani hit a great ball. Djondo Lekov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Duda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes in the game Jordi Hospital did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Celso Rivas. Cresenciano Moya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the game, Eneko Sobrado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Djondo Lekov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Nelsonteam players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
