Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent-Jan Turpin in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Brent-Jan Turpin came free, but Duarte Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leovigildo Abumohor who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on El Eterno Campeón's corner Leovigildo Abumohor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duarte Duarte quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute Rodolfo Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Reichl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constancio Binder's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Duarte Duarte firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Constancio Binder took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Duarte Duarte to make any attempt to save it. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent-Jan Turpin in the 38th minute of the match. Duarte Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brent-Jan Turpin went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Rodolfo Lencastre sped through El Eterno Campeón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruslan Reichl. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
