Fabrício Lopes started the match with the kick off. Brent-Jan Turpin might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Matias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brent-Jan Turpin ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brent-Jan Turpin in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Matias saved VB-Team from getting behind. Ruslan Reichl made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fabrício Lopes sent off a good shot on target. El Eterno Campeón's Constancio Binder got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brent-Jan Turpin in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Matias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Constancio Binder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Matias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, 曹景升 managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Eterno Campeón's supporters rose to their feet, but 曹景升 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half El Eterno Campeón were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brent-Jan Turpin to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gervásio Severiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Brent-Jan Turpin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Matias was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. VB-Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hafız Öztekin in the 72nd minute. Gervásio Severiano made a great header on VB-Team's corner, it was just that El Eterno Campeón's Ruslan Reichl managed to reach the ball for a save. 曹景升 charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 曹景升 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, El Eterno Campeón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曹景升 to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Luís Braga got a free kick in the 90th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
