The SC Night Cats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Xabat Acedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerold Zollt having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Night Cats's Arno Trenkel got control of the ball when Matthieu Richardot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerold Zollt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabat Acedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match SC Night Cats got a corner. DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Berkowitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xabat Acedo made a great header on SC Night Cats's corner, it was just that DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt managed to reach the ball for a save. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Gerold Zollt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabat Acedo in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Poenaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arno Trenkel. SC Night Cats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidiu Poenaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. He walked away shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Halbich came free, but Gerold Zollt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Night Cats's Arno Trenkel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Night Cats from getting a goal against them. Stefan Halbich took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerold Zollt. Gerold Zollt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Berthold Wüsthoff came free, but Gerold Zollt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Terstappen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthieu Richardot made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, SC Night Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Poenaru came free, but Arno Trenkel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arno Trenkel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Nóbrega in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xabat Acedo got free with Gerold Zollt in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wellington Nóbrega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arno Trenkel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to SC Night Cats getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Berthold Wüsthoff hit a great ball. Arno Trenkel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute DJK Füchtel Vechta were awarded a corner. Rea Selbert went to the cornerflag to take it. Arno Trenkel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Richardot, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Poenaru in the 68th minute of play forced SC Night Cats's goalkeeper Arno Trenkel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wellington Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the DJK Füchtel Vechta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. Arno Trenkel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Nóbrega in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Nóbrega in the 76th minute of play forced SC Night Cats's goalkeeper Arno Trenkel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arno Trenkel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wellington Nóbrega went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gerold Zollt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xabat Acedo in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Pleschke got free with Gerold Zollt in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Baumbach was substituted for Chris Kursawe. If Matthieu Richardot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
