Jochen Schultheiss really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Andreas Ahlstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jochen Schultheiss. In the 39th minute Mats Koser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Trenker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Trenker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Schira, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Éthan Pichard made a kick off. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochen Schultheiss in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Mark Elzer made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gene Centaurs Munich's Thomas Trenker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 96 minutes, Lonzo Heraso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gene Centaurs Munich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lonzo Heraso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
