Luisito Sadurni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dionisio Sotero came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Noel Braga could save by the left post. Luisito Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Trigo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Sadurni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luisito Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Lécuyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Lécuyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. But to his dismay, Edgard Lécuyer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Edgard Magdaleno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 47 minutes into the game, Rachid Dib was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irreal Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tequileros FC the free kick. After 47 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Dib. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Lécuyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Lécuyer in the 51st minute of play forced Irreal Madrid's goalkeeper Noel Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Tequileros FC's Edgard Lécuyer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Blas Esiquio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Edgard Lécuyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rachid Dib to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Edgard Magdaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Braga was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Magdaleno in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Braga saved Irreal Madrid from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Luisito Sadurni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonsinho Mattos. When Blas Esiquio fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tequileros FC's protests and gave Blas Esiquio a yellow card for diving instead. Blas Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Irreal Madrid's Adhemar Valadares shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luisito Sadurni but with some difficulty. 94 minutes into the game, Tequileros FC's Conrado Baudelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
