The referee ignored Cervezanegra A.C.'s protests and gave Pablo Solari a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Solari. Miguel Ángel Benito struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Filiberto Oso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascadia United. Kaisar Sözer got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Albert Linberg. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Cascadia United booed when Cervezanegra A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
