Raffique Rambachan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Rawson FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Eliseo Erasto hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Rawson FC's goalkeeper 王建朋 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raffique Rambachan. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Bird Cipriani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 王建朋. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Flavinho Motta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Sanjiv Yorke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 王建朋 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sterling Springer went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The U21 Trinidad & Tobago fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rawson FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
