Manuel Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Vida in the 39th minute of the match. Manuel Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Oryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tolek Oryl took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Moreira. Manuel Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Tolek Oryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Manuel Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maggi Gonzáles to strike the kick off in the second half. Azibar Jiron who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Moreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manuel Moreira made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fedele Vida sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, U21 El Salvador's goalkeeper Manuel Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fedele Vida. Gaskon Sominaya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Manuel Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Lodero in the 96th minute of play. With a little luck, U21 El Salvador's Manuel Moreira got control of the ball when Gaskon Sominaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. AFC Viola Gigliati's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
