An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Mios in the 18th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Isidro Madrigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Edgar Majusiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Madrigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Garita to make the kick off. Leonard Mios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Isidro Madrigal made a huge save. OROTINENSE's Isidro Madrigal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Mios got free with Isidro Madrigal in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Szymon Piatek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
