The Fracasados fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Fracasados's Javier Beti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of LOI booed when Fracasados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. LOI's Ahmet Hamdi Ortan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fracasados. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sulo Montaña to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Sulo Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOI's supporters rose to their feet, but Sulo Montaña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mai Yao Yao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of LOI booed when Fracasados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Eleazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mai Yao Yao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
