A collision led to SALIMEN getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Enéas Pereira hit a great ball. Elói Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Xun Kang, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 44th match minute, SALIMEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulisses Sabóia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Futuros FC's João Carlos Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Pereira in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulisses Sabóia in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Carlos Andrade saved Futuros FC from getting behind. The Futuros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Carlos Andrade should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute İldeniz Davutoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
