FC Steaua Pildesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Lu Yang Song scored to the left of an out of position Octavian Bogdănescu, making the score, 1-0. In the 6th minute, Edgar Jdeica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Gologan in the 7th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Gologan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Bogdănescu having to make a save. Lu Yang Song scored 3-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavian Bogdănescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigel Gologan in the 21st minute. The Juventus Țiu fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Juventus Țiu's Gigel Gologan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dorin Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Iorgu in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Costin Iorgu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorin Peter was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 28 minutes into the game, Lu Yang Song cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Octavian Bogdănescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Baicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavian Bogdănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Mitu in the 42nd minute of play. Valer Cobâlcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Traian Roşu to make the kick off. FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Mitu in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, Juventus Țiu's Bud Weiser made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Bogdănescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Vali Mitu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vali Mitu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Juventus Țiu's Doru Baicu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Juventus Țiu's Bud Weiser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Bogdănescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Octavian Bogdănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Andone, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Ioan Andone walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 77 minutes into the match, Gigel Gologan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Gologan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Octavian Bogdănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lu Yang Song went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-1 was the resulting score. After 83 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Marius Cănănău. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Andone in the 85th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu suffered a sore knee after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Vali Zbârciog's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vali Zbârciog helped the player get up and apologised. FC Steaua Pildesti made a substitution. Adam Buș replaced Costin Iorgu.
