The crowd rose to their feet as Diss AFC's Shane Duffy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobie Feutrill. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Duffy in the 14th minute of play forced Pawleena FC's goalkeeper Tobie Feutrill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Ash Hudson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diss AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Pawleena FC's Tobie Feutrill got control of the ball when Danny Howden tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Diss AFC defense, Jake Porteus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dean Speight. The Diss AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dean Speight should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Ace Weatherby suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 28 minutes, Shane Duffy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diss AFC and the Pawleena FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Diss AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Shane Duffy hit a great ball. After 32 minutes, Drew Warner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diss AFC and the Pawleena FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pawleena FC booed when Diss AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drew Warner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bryan Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Bryan Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Speight saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryan Potter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dean Speight having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Bryan Potter notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Diss AFC's Dean Speight. Dean Speight was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute, Ash Hudson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobie Feutrill was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Acton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobie Feutrill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ash Hudson in the 57th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Diss AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ash Hudson to maneuver through the defense. Diss AFC's Drew Warner couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pawleena FC. The supporters of Diss AFC booed when Pawleena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Delahide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drew Warner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobie Feutrill having to make a save. Diss AFC's Dean Speight proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Diss AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Ash Hudson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobie Feutrill was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Tobie Feutrill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ash Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Shane Duffy got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Darell Cusbert fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pawleena FC's protests and gave Darell Cusbert a yellow card for diving instead. When Jagger Magnay came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Pawleena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jagger Magnay couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Diss AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Pawleena FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
