The Chacarita Futsal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Stanković came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poul Stanković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Miguel Ángel Santoro managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Faroe Islands's Poul Stanković fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Chacarita Futsal's Arild Nodland in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Faroe Islands's goalie prevented a goal. Andrias á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Signorini in the 24th minute of the match. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poul Stanković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31stth minute of the game Alfonso Signorini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faroe Islands's Andrias á Bø was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrias á Bø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arild Nodland in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Stanković came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Faroe Islands's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Cayo came free, but Andrias á Bø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Faroe Islands booed when Chacarita Futsal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Poul Stanković to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, one of Faroe Islands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Faroe Islands. The goalkeeper, Andrias á Bø, was totally fooled by Chacarita Futsal's Alfonso Signorini, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 59th match minute, Faroe Islands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sjúrður Djurhuus to maneuver through the defense. Nenad á Neystabø hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Faroe Islands's zone, Alfonso Signorini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrias á Bø came out of the goal and Alfonso Signorini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Signorini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrias á Bø having to interfere. Andrias á Bø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arild Nodland in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Arild Nodland fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Faroe Islands's Andrias á Bø proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Faroe Islands from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Chacarita Futsal's Arild Nodland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrias á Bø. That made the score 1-3 after 85 minutes of play. Andrias á Bø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Signorini in the 89th minute. After 93 minutes of play, Chacarita Futsal's Alfonso Signorini made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrias á Bø was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chacarita Futsal made a substitution. Esteve Pero replaced Fabricio Quexal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Pagomari in the 98th minute of play forced Faroe Islands's goalkeeper Andrias á Bø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Chacarita Futsal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Faroe Islands throughout the match.
