Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tarek Bahaa took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, one of Conquistas Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Valdir Viana had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Tarek Bahaa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tarek Bahaa took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Viana. Valdir Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Valdir Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarek Bahaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Demerdache FC got a corner. Conquistas Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tarek Bahaa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Demerdache FC's Tarek Bahaa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valdir Viana in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Valdir Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haitham Mortada in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute Haitham Mortada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Sérgio Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conquistas Futebol Clube and the Demerdache FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sérgio Alves hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Tarek Bahaa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdir Viana skillfully saved the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Haitham Mortada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Valdir Viana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdir Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gomaa Seif went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Gomaa Seif notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Conquistas Futebol Clube's Valdir Viana. Valdir Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geraldo Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezz Mounir having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Mubarak Hakeem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Demerdache FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conquistas Futebol Clube the free kick. The supporters of Conquistas Futebol Clube booed when Demerdache FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mubarak Hakeem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Gabriel Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdir Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamada El-Khateeb in the 38th minute of play. When André Luís Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Conquistas Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Alcântara couldn't finish the play. After 42 minutes of play, Conquistas Futebol Clube's André Luís Alcântara made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezz Mounir was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sérgio Alves struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ezz Mounir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conquistas Futebol Clube. After the first half Demerdache FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo Xavier to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Demerdache FC's Tarek Bahaa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdir Viana. That made the score 1-5 after 51 minutes of play. The throw-in from Mazen Hafez in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Conquistas Futebol Clube's Sérgio Alves. André Luís Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Demerdache FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fahmy Abu Mosallam hit a great ball. Gabriel Gomes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ezz Mounir. Demerdache FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Geraldo Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezz Mounir having to interfere. In the 75th minute of the match, Gomaa Seif got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valdir Viana was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Valdir Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haitham Mortada in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Demerdache FC's Haitham Mortada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdir Viana. Valdir Viana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Fikry Helal hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Demerdache FC's zone, Geraldo Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezz Mounir came out of the goal and Geraldo Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gomaa Seif received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdir Viana came out and tried to block the shot, but Gomaa Seif slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Demerdache FC's Gomaa Seif nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. When the final whistle went the supporters of Demerdache FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Conquistas Futebol Clube side.
