In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newmarket HD's goalkeeper Graeme Haywood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Osvaldo Fontana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Fontana got free with Graeme Haywood in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Gheorghe Stănoiu suffered a sore thigh after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keith Bye during the 43rd minute. Graeme Haywood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Fontana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Osvaldo Fontana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 62 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Fontana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Graeme Haywood.
