After 8th play minutes Hugo Machard shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Moise Ştefănescu and just under the crossbar into goal. If Kosmas Karastathis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Hugo Machard notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Moise Ştefănescu. Moise Ştefănescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moise Ştefănescu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kosmas Karastathis sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Machard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Despite this Moise Ştefănescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Săndulescu got free with Beniamin Brodzki in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rouen were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurélien Gitton took the corner. After taking down the ball on Rouen's corner Aurélien Gitton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Moise Ştefănescu quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Kosmas Karastathis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moise Ştefănescu was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 88 minutes, Frans Sundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rouen and the CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA players grew even worse after the yellow card.
