After a rather tough play, Mehringsburg FC's Frieder Hohlfeld got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, Melvin Kartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the game, Silvio Mincho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eugen Dölle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julian Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes of play, Mehringsburg FC's Uwe Kübler made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marciano Mazuste was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick-Marc Göldner during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mehringsburg FC's Eugen Dölle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Mehringsburg FC from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes, Lucio Moll mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mehringsburg FC and the Quimilí FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hartwig Beinmagd made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Patrick-Marc Göldner immediately put the ball in play. In the 44th match minute, Quimilí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Ganix to maneuver through the defense. Silvio Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Dölle having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Uhl to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Gregorio Ganix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quimilí FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Ganix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasio Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Silvio Mincho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mehringsburg FC's Eugen Dölle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frieder Hohlfeld's late challenge caught a Quimilí FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frieder Hohlfeld helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mehringsburg FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Frieder Hohlfeld hit a great ball. When Quimilí FC's Silvio Mincho in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
