Cankut Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Heesen in the 21st minute of the match. Turgut Soyuer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tadej Pogačar made a huge save. Cankut Wakabayashi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinus Doren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Hilmi Tanpınar kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Netherlands's Tadej Pogačar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Turgut Soyuer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadej Pogačar made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Turgut Soyuer sent off a good shot on target. Turkey's Cankut Wakabayashi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick Heesen in the 37th minute of play. In the 47th minute Frenkie de Jong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cankut Wakabayashi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Turgut Soyuer made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Turgut Soyuer in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadej Pogačar saved Netherlands from getting behind. In the 53rd minute, Turgut Soyuer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadej Pogačar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 58 minutes into the match, Turgut Soyuer notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Netherlands's Tadej Pogačar. Tadej Pogačar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadej Pogačar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Turgut Soyuer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadej Pogačar was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Turkey's Ali Nurettin was substituted for Halim Talat. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Harold Pothuizen with Guus Harmsen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tadej Pogačar came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Turkey's Zé Dos Reis. But to his dismay, Zé Dos Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 86 minutes into the match, Turkey's Zé Dos Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadej Pogačar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match Turkey got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Servet Sönmez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hasan Tahsin Erdem was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 90 played minutes Turkey got a freekick which was hit by Behzat Tanyeli. Tadej Pogačar came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Turkey's Zé Dos Reis. But to his dismay, Zé Dos Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Netherlands players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Turkey.
