In the 11th minute Fernando Arenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrick Zeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Arthur Hengemühl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Wielowiejski's late challenge caught a Velho Barreiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Wielowiejski helped the player get up and apologised. Adam Wielowiejski kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Henrick Zeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Saldanha in the 19th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Wielowiejski. Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stian Aarflot in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Guerra in the 40th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serge Jeanneret came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Iker Hidalgo could save by the left post. Victor Luis lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Velho Barreiro FC! Adam Wielowiejski shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Arenas was the one to do the kick off. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Jeanneret, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Iker Hidalgo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarada's Arthur Hengemühl. But to his dismay, Arthur Hengemühl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Wielowiejski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Iker Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stian Aarflot in the 66th minute of the match. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stian Aarflot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Hengemühl took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Hidalgo. Iker Hidalgo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Velho Barreiro FC made a substitution. Edmílson Cosme replaced Válter Saldanha. Velho Barreiro FC's Cipriano Loureiro was substituted for Milcho Rakov. The supporters of Velho Barreiro FC booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotrek Zielinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Hengemühl, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Guerra came free, but Henrick Zeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tarada getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jochen Schaer hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tarada had won after a very even match.
