The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Sabóia in the 4th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Alfonso Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Bittencourt came free, but Alfonso Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes Guansa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldão Novaes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SALIMEN's corner Ulisses Sabóia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfonso Lauro quite easily take care of the ball. Albino Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute İldeniz Davutoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on SALIMEN's corner Ronaldão Novaes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfonso Lauro quite easily take care of the ball. Faustino Gerazan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Alfonso Lauro came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SALIMEN's Faustino Gerazan. But to his dismay, Faustino Gerazan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the game, SALIMEN's Ulisses Sabóia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Lauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some careless play in the Guansa defense, Ulisses Sabóia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Lauro. The Guansa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Lauro should have stopped the shot. If Ulisses Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, İldeniz Davutoğlu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Guansa's Alfonso Lauro. Alfonso Lauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Ulisses Sabóia made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Guansa's Maximo Todor got a free kick in the 52nd minute. İldeniz Davutoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SALIMEN's Elói Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Elequemedo in the 57th minute of play. Alfonso Lauro made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Faustino Gerazan sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Guansa's Alfonso Lauro got control of the ball when İldeniz Davutoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niceto Izel struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Elói Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guansa. SALIMEN's Rony Eger was substituted for Ulisses Sabóia. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Miguel Montrel hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Ronaldão Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Nicolas Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the SALIMEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Bittencourt came free, but Alfonso Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
