Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iustin Bâru in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Sutrisna came free, but Aron Chindriș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Haji Sarap successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the game, Arvin Sutrisna threw the ball into play from the sideline. Romania's Pavel Alexandru quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. But to his dismay, Iustin Bâru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Indonesia's Ruby Novrizal was substituted for Aang Pitono. Romania made a substitution. Ovidiu Epure replaced Francisc Turcu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Bâru in the 66th minute of play forced Indonesia's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Zub, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the Indonesia defense, Iustin Bâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haji Sarap. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haji Sarap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Ştefan Istrăteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Zub, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Iustin Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
