But to his dismay, Evaristo Herrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 17 minutes into the match, Lobos's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Giraldo came free, but Rafael Berbiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Berbiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Isias in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Lobos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Llorian to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lobos defense, Prudencio Isias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Berbiz. The Lobos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Berbiz should have stopped the shot. Rafael Berbiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Berbiz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by The Waldos's Severino Romero. But to his dismay, Severino Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert-Jan Weedsgaard in the 32nd minute of play forced Lobos's goalkeeper Rafael Berbiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Berbiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodoro Chesus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Anastasio Benitez fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobos's protests and gave Anastasio Benitez a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as The Waldos's Prudencio Isias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Berbiz. That made the score 0-13 after 77 minutes of play. The Waldos's Saturnino Gergori was substituted for Robert-Jan Weedsgaard. Jann Bavneby succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-14 in the 83rd playminute. Rafael Berbiz made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Saturnino Gergori sent off a good shot on target. The Waldos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
