Egídio Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Hortêncio Porto made a huge save. Egídio Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Genílson Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Corote & Molotov getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Edvaldo Pinheiro hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Pinto's Celso Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hortêncio Porto. Hortêncio Porto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hortêncio Porto made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Celso Silva sent off a good shot on target. Hortêncio Porto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genílson Gaúcho went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Hortêncio Porto made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Egídio Tróia sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Fernando Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Corote & Molotov's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Tróia came free, but Hortêncio Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvaldo Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. João Francisco Teles hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Egídio Tróia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Hortêncio Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celso Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Hortêncio Porto made a huge save. Corote & Molotov's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Celso Silva scored to the left of an out of position Hortêncio Porto, making the score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válter Barros made a kick off. When Adalberto Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corote & Molotov's protests and gave Adalberto Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pinto booed when Corote & Molotov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Genílson Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Hortêncio Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hortêncio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Silva in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Corote & Molotov's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Silva came free, but Hortêncio Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Tróia scored 6-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Porto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Gaúcho in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Válter Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corote & Molotov and the Pinto players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pinto booed when Corote & Molotov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Celso Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hortêncio Porto was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Silva in the 81st minute of play forced Corote & Molotov's goalkeeper Hortêncio Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Nilson Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corote & Molotov and the Pinto players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was beautiful to see Pinto's Zé Carlos França in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 87th minute Celso Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Genílson Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Hortêncio Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hortêncio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Teles in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pinto fully deserved thier win.
