Marquinhos Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Sportivo Luqueño's Marquinhos Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Holgado in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Agriex's zone, Erubiel Ruega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Cerna came out of the goal and Erubiel Ruega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Cesario Samaniego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Licerio Santillana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agriex's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Cesario Samaniego scored to the left of an out of position Aristides Cerna, making the score, 2-0. In the 43rd minute Gavino Holgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquinhos Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Erubiel Ruega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zemario Hernando fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agriex's protests and gave Zemario Hernando a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Sportivo Luqueño booed when Agriex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zemario Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Holgado made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Club Sportivo Luqueño got a freekick which was hit by Eriz Jalon. 53 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Luqueño's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Holgado came free, but Marquinhos Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Agriex's zone, Txerran Altemiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Cerna came out of the goal and Txerran Altemiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Cerna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martinez Bazquez in the 59th minute of the match. Eriz Jalon's late challenge caught a Agriex's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriz Jalon helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Club Sportivo Luqueño got a freekick which was hit by Eriz Jalon. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Luqueño's Cesario Samaniego got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Aristides Cerna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Ruega in the 66th minute of play. Txerran Altemiz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Aristides Cerna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Luqueño. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinez Bazquez in the 90th minute of play forced Agriex's goalkeeper Aristides Cerna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Cerna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesario Samaniego in the 93rd minute of the match. Agriex's Aristides Cerna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txerran Altemiz in the 95th minute of play. The Club Sportivo Luqueño fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Club Sportivo Luqueño's Cesario Samaniego looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
