Ezz Mounir was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute Fathy Serag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezz Mounir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demerdache FC's Ezz Mounir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Demerdache FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Demerdache FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Haitham Mortada hit a great ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tarek Bahaa was the one to do the kick off. Haitham Mortada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Alaa Osama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osama Serag in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezz Mounir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Demerdache FC booed when Mi awwad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saad Saad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Tarek Bahaa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alaa Osama skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute, Haitham Mortada made a precise shot to the right of Alaa Osama. Mi awwad FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Reda Basyouny's late challenge caught a Demerdache FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reda Basyouny helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Demerdache FC's Mazen Hafez got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mi awwad FC's Osama Serag got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gomaa Seif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaa Osama having to interfere. The Demerdache FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Demerdache FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
