Clemente Cisneros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Allison having to interfere. In the 89th minute Cherry Evans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesús Caminero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bran Allison didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Winston Méndez went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundson Colling in the 95th minute of play forced Dominican Republic's goalkeeper Jesús Caminero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bran Allison came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Dominican Republic's Winston Méndez. But to his dismay, Winston Méndez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.
