Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. William França started the match with the kick off. Kenya's Jackson Limo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Galvão in the 4th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Jackson Oduor took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gilmar Paraíba to make any attempt to save it. Kenya's Jackson Limo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Arce in the 17th minute of play. Gilmar Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Muhoho in the 24th minute. Oburu Kitur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gilmar Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Muhoho in the 29th minute of the match. When Erik Arce came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Brazil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Arce couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, Kenya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Muhoho to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Patrick Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jackson Limo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes, Patrick Galvão made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kenya's Jackson Limo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Brazil booed when Kenya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bwana Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute of the match Cacá do Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jackson Limo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Erik Arce came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Brazil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Arce couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Jackson Oduor made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jackson Oduor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jackson Limo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jackson Limo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when William França sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes Kenya got a freekick which was hit by Elijah Mbugua. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Galvão in the 59th minute of play forced Kenya's goalkeeper Jackson Limo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Umberto Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jackson Limo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William França received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jackson Limo came out and tried to block the shot, but William França slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. Brazil's Zé das Neves was substituted for Erik Arce. In the 86th minute, Wilson Muhoho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 88th match minute, Brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William França to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
