The Romania fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Romania's Pavel Alexandru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Kazakhstan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikolay Loginov to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Romania's Pavel Alexandru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Innokentiy Blyakhin. Innokentiy Blyakhin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0.
